What Is the Scorpion X-Series?
The Scorpion X-Series is a CAN-bus immobiliser from Scorpion Automotive, one of the UK's leading vehicle security manufacturers. It wires directly into your car's Controller Area Network — the internal data network your ECU already uses — and arms itself automatically the moment you turn the ignition off. There's no need to remember to set it.
To get moving again, you enter a personal PIN sequence using your car's own dashboard, steering wheel or centre console buttons — or, on compatible setups, disarm it with a driver tag. Get it wrong, or skip it altogether, and the engine simply stays locked, no matter which key is in your hand.
Because it lives inside your CAN-bus wiring with no aftermarket keypad, LED, or radio signal, it's invisible to the naked eye and undetectable to the diagnostic scanners thieves use to search for aftermarket security.
